A sinister organization dirties its hands with serious crimes in San Francisco, putting on a mantle of ambiguous moralisms. The sect, in fact, kills by request and for payment, offering its services free of charge to poor clients, in the cases in which the law and the law courts cannot or are not able to do justice! The chief of police, Tom Devlin, charges Tex and Carson with shedding light on the case, and the pards discover that the association of self styled avengers does not always kill for a strict, even if debatable, sense of the law.
