Sheriff Clemmons, gang leader and then traitor of the Innocents, had run away. Lena, pregnant with her daughter, Donna, had stunned the stubborn Carson, too bruised to be able to pursue the rogue, for the sole purpose of saving him. Today, Clemmons is in Bannock to dig up a huge booty and the bandits have taken Donna to exchange her for the bundle! Tex penetrates the band, pretending to be one of the old accomplices, while Kit Willer frees the girl. In the final clash, Clemmons sacrifices himself to save Piccolo Falco and the last of the Innocents end up, as befits the guilty, in hell.
