Hidden in Amarillo to enjoy the fruits of many robberies, the members of the new Mano Rossa are put in danger by one of their own accomplices, the wicked Stillman, Mac Lean’s murderer (the Pinkerton detective that was following the gang’s tracks). The killer nurses a personal hatred for Tex for secret reasons and entices him into town in order to kill him. Stillman fails and his accomplices, blaming him for stirring up a great hornets’ nest, inflict a solemn punishment on him by lashing him with a whip. Nothing remains for the secret association, led by an unknown First Brother, but to try and get rid of the pards!
