Orso nero and his Dakotas: there could hardly have been a better set of allies for Tex, his pards and Pat Mac Ryan in their quest to brandish the final blow against the disreputable Rocky Mountains Company. The caravan of stage-coaches with the supplies for Kackson’s trappers is surrounded and forced to surrender, after its nastiest element – the scalp-hunter Shady Bill – has already been fed to the worms! Later. the next fall, the pards are at Pilares at El Morisco’s, when a cousin of Eusebio’s arrives huffing and puffing and begs to be given asylum: he’s being pursued by a handful of deperados who belong to a gang of marauders that carry out their plundering raids under the effect of powerful narcotics.
