Left without any thugs to send ahead as human shields, and now entrapped by a large amount of proof, the ruthless Indian agent Billing flees on a sleigh along a frozen river, but the ice breaks and the knave ends up in the chilly waters beneath the surface! Some time after, investigating certain mysterious disappearances of squaws on the Keibab mountains, Tex and Tiger Jack save the young India girl Hanaba from the rapids into which she’d been thrown by the Hualpais during an arcane sacrificial ritual. With a stratagem, Tex penetrates the camp of the bloodthirsty Indians and frees the other imprisoned maidens.
