To avenge himself on Tex, who had set fire to his warehouse, the wicked trafficker, Frank Bishop, hires a band of cutthroats. Meanwhile the pards are on the trail of five down-and-outs who are looking for Silver Star, the black stallion that is the incarnation of Manito’s spirit: it was Bishop himself who gave the orders to capture the stallion, with the risk of stirring up a Navajo revolt! But the dirty game fails on all fronts: Bishop, surrounded and mad with rage, tries to shoot the fabulous horse, but ends up trampled by the hooves of a herd of crazed horses.
