To get away from the Apaches, the last stagecoach out of Warlock has set off along the old abandoned trail of Canyon Amarillo … But as Tex feared, this turns out to be a plan contrived by Scott Dunson and his accomplices to launch an attack on the stagecoach at the dead of night. But what happens, at this point, is that a third party puts a spoke in the wheels of the two who are at daggers drawn: Loco, the rebel Chiricahua, with his band of bloodthirsty marauders. And in fact it’s Loco and his Apaches who actually seem to have gotten the upper hand…
