Tex has to go to Safford to try to unmask those who masterminded the massacre at the San Cristòbal mine. Meanwhile, the material perpetrators of the heinous slaughter, the bandits headed by Frank Harrigan, have taken shelter in a small hidden canyon, where they are holding Carson prisoner. Tex will have to rescue his pard, dodge Harrigan’s thugs and manage to get back to town in time to foil and expose the shady underhand dealings of Emmerich, one of the richest wheeler-dealers and real estate bigwigs of the whole of Arizona.
