After having discovered that the Bilding’s suicide (one of the Pawnee slaughterers) is a brazen made-up story, the pards recover a letter of the deceased that reveals all of the underhand work of the massacre, even naming Nachite and Labbro Tagliato’s killers. Nachite’s widow metes out justice to the mind behind every misdeed! A while later, in Topeka, Tex and Carson support Sheriff Stoddard, who has imprisoned one of the hired ruffians of Jack Torrey, a local squire who has thrown the town into terror, blackmailing the honest merchants.
