Looking for information useful for preventing the conspiracy against the president, Tex and Carson publish the photo of the corpse of one of the murderers of the Pinkerton men in the “Santa Fe Journal”. Then the conspirators make the pards believe that the chief of state will be blown up on a railroad bridge. But when the Commissioner of Indian Affairs, Ely Parker, invites the rangers to join the presidential procession and tells them about the finding of a war hero’s body, Tex guesses the truth and kills the president’s real murderer! Now the conspirators must sneak away, getting rid of all proof of the misdeed.
