Morel is terrified and proposes to his two accomplices, the notary, Madison, and Johnny Rickers, that they betray their leader, setting the rangers on him! Rickers refuses and leaves, discovering by chance that Madison is the Black Tiger! The Malays torture Morel and Rickers is stabbed to death after having blurted out the guilty one’s name to the pards. Thanks to the notary’s heap of papers, Tex and Carson locate the Black Tiger’s fortress, but are captured and forced to listen to the story of a deposed Malay prince who dreams of establishing an empire of the sons of the Orient in America!
