Leaving the San Francisco Bay, Captain Hogarth’s sailing ship, the Albatross, moves out to sea towards the North with a prisoner on board, the police chief, Tom Devlin! Tex and Carson, allies of Captain Drake’s, set out in pursuit on the Leviathan, Captain Brooke’s whaler: however, when they sight a cetacean, the pards and the crew of the Leviathan must lower the dinghies into the sea for the hunt, in order not to raise the suspicions of those pursued! Then, in Aberdeen, having made one of the men from the Albatross squeal, our heroes discover that Devlin will be put ashore in Puget Sound, where he will end his days as a slave of the Nootka Indians!
