In order to recover the gold of the robbery, which had sunk in a lake on the Teton Range, he maneuvered his accomplices like puppets, and then eliminated them! But one of them, before giving his soul to the devil, manages to say the great boss’ name. The unsuspicious one, by now unmasked, croaks after having rashly aimed a Derringer at Tex! A while later, in Montana, while the Cheyenne chief, Appanoosa, is about to sign a peace treaty with the government, a rifle shot causes everything to fail. Carson manages to catch Formica Nera, the sachem’s son, and Tex asks for seven days to avoid the outbreak of an Indian war.
