The plans for a new rifle – initially refused by the Government – stir up the West Kentucky Company’s anger, which for years has prospered with the deliveries to the army. Major Clark Morrow, the only survivor of a patrol exterminated by the company’s hired assassins, arrives at Fort Necessity, escorted by Tex and Tiger Jack: he had to inform his brother George – the lieutenant who had invented the weapon – that Washington had finally decided to accept his invention. But the officer has resigned, to sell the patent to Mexico, and the two pards go to find him in Pequeño Paraiso – which, in spite of its name, is an infernal den of cutthroats!
