A horde of escapee Apaches causes a bloodbath on the borders of the Navajo reservation! Kit Willer, whose Indian best-friend has been killed, falls into a state of gloom and melancholy: to lift his spirits, the photographer O’Sullivan, saved from the rebel Indians, begs Kit to follow him on a scientific expedition to the isthmus of Panama with an escort of marines to study the possibility of opening up a canal. Some time later, having heard from his friend Colonel Turner that the mission might be assailed by acts of sabotage, Tex goes to join up with Kit, just in time to trigger a monumental brawl during the reception at the consulate in Cartagena!
