Five thousand dollars! This is the price Maschera di Ferro, the mysterious ringleader of the gang infesting New Orleans, has put on the head of Tex and his pards. For our heroes are causing an awful lot of trouble to the villains who are running the gambling outfit and are blackmailing and terrorizing honest Mississippi shipowners into parting with their own businesses and delivering them up to the brutal delinquents. The criminal network set up by the Cuban Clan and the black voodoo hangers-on, in league with Maschera di Ferro’s bunch of heavies, begins to show severe cracks. And Conway, the sinister and shifty attorney hired by the crime ring, begins to have cold sweats too.
