The dynamite persuades Quemado’s Yaquis to abandon their iniquitous alliance with the De Rosales brothers, who head the Locos gang. Then the pards blow up the noxious island that is the breeding-ground of the heady flowers of madness, which are contaminated as they grow by mysterious vapors emanating from the underworld: Mexican criminals were using the potent substances they contain to psych themselves up for their wild raids. After destroying the store of drugs, our heroes set off to launch an attack on El Castillo, a fortified hideout where the gang of robbers are holed up. And while the skirmishes are becoming more and more ferocious, the bowels of the earth, shaken by the explosion of the lagoon, are beginning to hatch a deadly threat…
