Chief Piccolo Tuono has kidnapped Tex and Tiger Jack: he’s going to torture them to make them pay for the failure of an assault on one of the Missouri Fur stagecoaches, but an Indian woman comes to the two friends’ help: it’s Linton, whom Tex had allowed to go free despite the fact that she’d killed her husband. So the two have a chance – albeit just an slim possibility – of escaping, and while they re competing in the “arrow race”, Kit and Carson bomb the Snake camp with dynamite! So the punitive expedition by the pards and Pat Mac Ryan against the unscrupulous Rocky Co. sets out again, starting from Shady Bill – a cut-throat under Jackson’s orders – and from a convoy bringing supplies to the trappers.
