At the ghostly ruins of the Stone Tiger, where there is strange treasure hidden - mysterious treasures protected by a gigantic anaconda that lives at the bottom of a well - the final clash takes place between the pards and the risen-again Children of the White Bison, led by Tahzay. But the troubles with the Indians are not over: bands of rebel Apaches, led by Rayakura, attack the military outposts and plunder the farms along the Green River. Tex kills the Indian chief, but another warrior takes command of the revolt: Nokal. He is responsible for the massacre of the peace-loving town of Aultman.
