Terror reigns north of the Rio Bravo! The Gang of Hippocampus, a revolutionary network with numerous informers, aims to bring the area back under Mexico’s control. Doña Manuela Guzman is the beautiful and rich ranchera who leads the sect with an iron fist: Tex breaks up the infamous gang and Doña Manuela dies in the desert, killed by the bandit, El Lobo’s, bullets. Meanwhile, the Civil War approaches and even Kit Willer joins the Rangers: his first mission, at his father’s side, aims at preventing acts of profiteering by those who are trying to get rich on the back of the wartime events.
