In the alleys of a rather eccentric Victorian London, an intricate tangle of secret missions and daring plans unfolds, involving ancient occult societies fighting for control of an invention capable of changing the course of History!

The goal of Jack Gordon, captain of the Royal Highlanders, is to sail up the Nile to Sudan and beyond, to track down Reginald Stockwood, an archaeologist who disappeared while searching for a lost valley, populated by mysterious creatures. But Gordon and his companions are not the only ones who want to track down Stockwood, and they will soon find themselves involved in a war that will change their destiny forever, pushing them towards... the unknown!
