The Federation sends Nathan on a tricky diplomatic mission in Wangascar, a country torn in two again by civil war after a few years of peace. He aims to obtain a ceasefire between Presidente Kawobo's regular army and the rebels led by General Agbani, to create a humanitarian corridor for the population fleeting to Buthuili. However, someone is trying to sabotage the Federation's mission while a mysterious female warrior is fighting Agbani's troops. Only Nathan guessed her identity: the woman is Athi, the goddess of war. The director of the Alfa Agency knows too well that Athi knows only one way to peace: destroying the enemy.
