The journey of “Old Ian” continues in the Hollow World, as he searches for his daughter Elara, who vanished under dramatic circumstances twenty years earlier along with the dragon Alanera she rode. We last saw Ian facing off against a mysterious and aggressive young girl—only to discover at the end that she was none other than Elara’s daughter… and thus Dragonero’s granddaughter! Through her stories, we learn more about what happened to her mother when she found herself exiled in the Hollow World, and why she grew up alone with a dragon in that hostile land...
