L'anello di fuoco

The Ring of Fire is a large seafront area south of the Vhâcondàr where once there was a mighty civilization, but it was swept away by a volcanic disaster in the distant past. Now, at the margins, the area is inhabited by several peoples who find plenty of fish and rare materials to trade... such as a volcanic sediment similar to coal mixed with tuff, apparently able to repel the Abominable effectively. It would be ideal to fill the containment trenches around the nughrachâve! Ian and Ecuba leave with a flying caravan to try and get the precious material. Still, besides the hurdles of a dangerous trip across unknown territories, they have to overcome the hostility of the belligerent native populations...
