Mystère and Java are in the basin, temporarily dry, of the Aswan dam, in Egypt. A descendant of the archaeologist Belzoni guides them on the search for the cave which, according to his ancestor, was the dwelling place of the god Hapi. Theirs is a fight against time: within a few hours, the waters of the Nile will come in and submerge everything! Back in New York, there is the start of a new adventure for Martin in connection with the discovery of America by the Templar knights, three hundred years before Columbus!
In this number: from page 5 to 62, “Assuan”, subject by Bonetti , script by Bonetti-Recagno and artwork by Alessandrini. From page 63, “The Last Caravelle”, by Beretta and Torti.
