PASQUALE RUJU, born in Nuoro in 1962, graduated from the Classical Lyçée High School and subsequently obtained a degree in Architecture in Turin. A keen theater-goer with a passion for drama and the stage, he obtained a diploma at the Turin Theater Laboratory. He then began working for “Ipotesi Cinema”, the drama school founded by Ermanno Olmi, and created a number of short films, including the recent “Password”, as well as the full-length feature film "Tempo di mezzo". After various experiences in theater and television, since 1989 he has been involved in dubbing, lending his voice to numerous characters in television series and animated cartoons. He made his debut in the world of comics in 1995, composing the short story “The Neighbor” for Dylan Dog, which was published in Dylan Dog Gigante Nr. 4. Since that time he has continued working for Dylan Dog, creating over sixty scripts with the Investigator of Nightmares as the protagonist, plus a number of other stories for Nathan Never, Tex and Dampyr, and the miniseries Demian that came out in May 2006, for which he is the author and script-writer of all eighteen of the episodes.
