The series' debut for the new year - as you may already know - is under the sign of an unusual and experimental format.

Dear friends, first of all: happy 2019! We're a little bit late with our season greetings, but there's still time for our preview! The series' debut for the new year - as you may already know - is under the sign of an unusual and experimental format. You'll find at your newsstands a longer story, divided into a trilogy that will end in March.

Why? The answer is easy: in our 75 months of life, we showed that Le Storie is a series that loves to test new and different narrations, authors, characters and themes.

And the adventure that the great Gigi Simeoni wrote for us was perfect to this end. An extensive story, with many subplots and characters, wonderfully portraited that spans the last years of WWII and the beginning of the postwar period, the harsh realism of the battle and the shadows of the crazed Nazi esoterism.

We'll stay loyal to our usual rules: we will reaffirm the strength of our most-beloved "veteran" authors, and give a little bit of space to the fresh, sometimes "eccentric" style of the debutants.

What's next? Have no fear, our usual monthly format will come back, with...

This year, we'll take the liberty of a little mystery. We can tell you, though, that we'll stay loyal to our usual rules: we will reaffirm the strength of our most-beloved "veteran" authors, and give a little bit of space to the fresh, sometimes "eccentric" style of the debutants. As far as genres go, we will have several stories set in a contemporary-thriller atmosphere, with an incursion in the "Salgari-like" narration, and a walk through the most exotic lands in China. Also, we will take you on a pleasant journey in the U.S. North-East Coast of the 18th century, at the time of the Anglo-French War.

That's what you can see by peeping through the door hole... If that's not enough for you, just turn the doorknob, and come in!

And have a nice read!
